It's been a while since we got back from Berkeley, but at last I have been able to post the pictures. But first, a few more picture of the Garden of the Gods trip.

This car is a very special car in very good condition. When the kid in the car was about to touch it his dad told him not to. The owner of the car then said that it was OK, and he would not own a car that couldn't be touched. He then had the kid get in (on the new leather) for this picture.



It's rare that Dianne and I get our picture together. Normally one of us is taking the picture.


Now Berkeley. We had a very good long weekend visit with my parents. We arrived on Thursday. Friday we visited, Saturday we took a drive, and we returned to Denver on Sunday.

On the first day there we went to lunch. I noticed a pink theme with the flower the wall (pink spots) and Mother's blouse.

The front of the house is almost always a good place to take some pictures. Now this first picture is of a good looking couple!



On Saturday we drove out to Santa Cruz. Byron Shock is now living there. We met him and took him to lunch out on the water. It was a beautiful day and we sat on a balcony overlooking an inlet.




On the way down we drove through coastal wooded mountains. Though beautiful I didn't get any pictures. When we left Santa Cruz we started by driving on Highway 1. We made a quick stop at this beach, then headed inland.


I suspect that the next posting will be after we return from Houston.
